Mimi and Grandpa brought over my Christmas present a bit early today...a Nikon D40! I am soooo excited and have been taking pictures all day! Here are a few "test shots". It's like uber-cold out today, so I can't even attempt to play with the natural light. THANKS Mimi and Grandpa--I loooooove my new camera!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my gosh, those are wonderful pix. Those brown eyes of Connor's!!!! And Brookie's little dimple and beautiful everything else...not to mention that you are a very good photographer, so the artistic element is there as well. Very nice for the first day on the job!!! :)
