I'll have a little "dress-up" with that, please....

The other day I was making a spinach salad. Connor was eyeing it, so I asked him if he wanted a bite. Crazily enough (the kid is not a fan of veggies--I'm always trying to "hide" them in food he likes), he took a couple of bites and LIKED IT!!! I said "Connor, would you like me to make you your own salad?" He replied, "Yes Mommy, with "dress-up" on it, please! :)

It was short lived...the next day I tried again, and he wouldn't even take a bite! ;) Sorry--we're of no help!!!!

Well, when Dad told me you were trying to "hide" the broccoli in the tuna casserole, I really had to laugh because with the size of the pieces of broccoli, there was no way he wasn't going to find them!! In fact, when I was eating some of your casserole at home and saw the broccoli, my first thought was "she's trying to get Connor to eat some veggies" followed by the second thought "Nah, those pieces are way too big, so that can't be the reason she put them in." :) My motherly suggestion is that you put them in the food processor first! He'll never know they are therE!! Love, your still-laughing Mom
